This new 60,000 sf public aquatic facility, designed for the City of Gaithersburg, includes a competitive swimming pool, diving boards, movable bulkhead, elevated seating; and a leisure pool, which incorporates slides, spray features and other recreational elements. This facility also includes a full-court gymnasium, fitness center, multi-use facilities and community meeting spaces. The facility is designed to LEED Silver standards, including the employment of a geothermal HVAC system.
