Sector 63A
India The overall form of this commercial office development responds to constraints imposed by a long, narrow site, which led to the concept of a lively, landscaped pedestrian avenue, flanked by the retail shops, terminating in a retail-focused courtyard with access to the office tower lobby. A second street frontage offers an alternative entry sequence, focused on the office tower that leads from a dedicated drop-off directly to the lobby across two small bridges, surrounded by fountains and lush landscaping. A third entrance gives direct access to a 500 car underground garage. The dynamically bold, slanted form of the office tower helps to break up the mass and lends a signature profile to the building, while reflecting the internal organization of a double-loaded corridor. Planned for office-condominium tenants, each unit is independently air conditioned, using exterior condenser units that are hidden in the building façade in such a manner as to add architectural interest and arrange the facade into a cohesive solid/void rhythm. Views of green roofs, lushly planted courtyards and dramatic longer views to the north and south enhance working environments and contribute to the developments significant sustainable elements.
